Wine House CORDIER was founded in 1886 and today it is recognized as the largest producer and merchant of wines in Bordeaux. CORDIER owns several castles and about 400 hectares of vineyards in the Bordeaux region. At the same time, all farms are united by a single goal-the desire to produce high-quality wines that absorb the best of each of the grapes and the soils on which it is grown gives. The result of the operation of this well-established mechanism is that the difficulty of finding a corner of the world where the products of the CORDIER House would not be represented, as well as stable sales, which make up about 40 million bottles of wine annually.
Winery Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus appeared thanks to the enthusiasm of several people in the world of wine. But its’ origin is due to an insightful man named Desiree Cordier. The Cordier House owns 15 castles and more than 230 hectares of vineyards in the Bordeaux region in total.
CLUB CORDIER is created on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation between the House of Cordier and the producers of castle wines. Most of them do not have wide popularity and fame, but occasionally have very worthy vineyards. Oenologists who work directly in the Cru class vineyards, are watching the farms with which CLUB CORDIER cooperates in order to maximize the potential of each land plot. They control all stages of work, starting with the selection of grape varieties by parcels (small local allotments of land) and ending with bottling. Thus, the wine is improved every year.
Since 1886, Cordier Mestrezat has developed partnerships with the Grand Crus of Bordeaux. Cordier Mestrezat presented himself as a jeweler, sharpening the edges of a diamond, by creating a Club Elite. Each owner of the chateau, a member of the Club Elite, tells a beautiful story, and each wine reveals the sparkling facet of the Great Vin Bord diamond.
